A favorite Old Town tradition is back on the big screen! CineCream Nights in The Square made its return in 2024 and, after a successful revival, celebrated its second year in 2025. What began years ago as a way to enjoy movies under the stars with a scoop of local ice cream has once again become a community staple.
Old Town Square comes alive during CineCream Nights, as families and friends bring blankets and lawn chairs to watch classic films under the summer sky. With the investment and support of local shops and restaurants, including Ben & Jerry’s, Bondi Beach Bar & Grill, Walrus Ice Cream, Coopersmith’s Pub & Brewing, Bandwagon Retro Sports Apparel, and Broadway Country Club, CineCream Nights has been revived, and the community looks forward to watching it grow each summer.
“Seeing CineCream Nights return has been incredible for our community,” said Jessica Dizmang, co-founder of the Downtown Fort Collins Business Collective (DBC) and owner of three franchised Ben & Jerry’s locations in Colorado. “It’s proof of how much people value traditions that bring us together downtown.”
Lisa Paugh, co-founder of the DBC and owner of Walrus Ice Cream, added, “This event is part of what makes Old Town special—neighbors gathering, businesses supporting each other, and the community coming out to enjoy downtown.”
Now firmly back on the calendar, CineCream Nights is reclaiming its spot as a summer tradition in Fort Collins—one that continues to grow sweeter every year.
